59 Ships To Berth In Lagos Ports

Fifty nine ships are to berth at the Lagos Ports Complex (LPC) from March 7 to March 27.
The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) indicated this in its ‘Shipping Position’ released on Friday in Lagos.
According to the document, 21 of the 59 ships will sail in with containers of various goods; one ship with used vehicles, and three other ships with petroleum products.
The NPA said that the remaining ships would sail in with general cargoes like bulk wheat, bagged rice, bulk wheat and bulk fertiliser.
Others items include: fresh fish, base oil, crude palm oil, bulk rice and steel products.
It said that three ships with petroleum products were waiting to berth and discharge their products.
According to the document, 18 ships are currently discharging containers like bulk urea, bulk wheat, general cargoes, bulk fertiliser and bulk gypsum.
Other items are: crude palmolein, bulk sugar, fresh fish, steel products and petroleum products. (NAN)
