It’s viral news about the suspension of the Governor of the Central
Bank of Nigeria, Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi. Chairman of the Nigeria Governors
Forum (NGF) and River state Rotimit Chibuike Amechi summons a meeting of all
the governors to have their opinion heard over the suspended CBN governor.
It should be recalled that the CBN governor was suspended
over alleged cases of incompetence, corruption, fraud, impunity and
nponcompliance with the provisions of the Public Procurement Act 2007 This
seemed-to-be-distraction can be traced to his accusations of the Government of a
$20 billions (stolen) missing oil revenue case raised by the CBN governor to
the entire public.
This as lead to a thug of war between the president of the
country Goodluck Jonathan and the House of Reps whose majority has backed the
CBN gov; saying the suspension was unconstitutional
In a statement made by the NGF Director-General, Asisharu
Okauru on Friday, the meeting will the held on Monday being the 24th of
Feb 2014, and will be chaired by Governor Amaechi at the Rivers State Governors
lodge, Asokoro in Abuja at 8pm prompt
